Hello, brave souls who may or may not be considering joining our Eyrie,
Through my past experience, I have seen many members come and go. I've also seen those that have stayed with this site through thick and thin.
Most that leave do so without ever finishing their character application. Now, granted, we here at the Eyrie take into consideration the fact that, let's face it, life happens. We don't expect you to finish up your application the day, or even the first week you join.
But unfortunately, if I've noted you haven't logged in for three weeks or so, have disappeared without explanation, or left your application abandoned for a month, I'm going to assume you are not coming back. This is a particular pet peeve of mine as Herald. If you've changed your mind about joining us that is fine. We're not for everyone, and we understand that. That being understood, please give us the courtesy of a quick admittance of permanent departure. I've had enough of wondering for months on end whether to delete someone's app, especially if it's almost finished.
From now on, if you have not completed your character application within a month of joining, and are particularly quiet, I will simply be deleting your account. So, keep that in mind when you start your character, alright ladies and gents?
