Power Bans/Restrictions

Greetings prospective Aengels. Our dear Herald is only searching for the best of the best, those with the most unique of abilities he can use for his own purposes. As such, there really is no need for us to employ several characters with the same specialty. The skills and abilities below have been satisfied by our current batch of Aengels/Forcies/Herrics, and we have no desire to flood our pool. Applicants who possess any of the qualities listed below will not be accepted.

• Astral Projection
  
• Shape-shifting (we suggest at least running your idea by an admin)
  
• Vampirism
  
• Characters based off of Greek gods, Fallen Angels, or any other previously "created" characters. This falls under our "fan races" clause.
  
• Time manipulation (generally causes god-moding)
  
• Precognition/Seeing the Future (again, god-moding)
  
• Ridiculously old age. Hundreds of years old. Millions. You get the idea. Been there, done that.

Sole makes an excellent point in saying we don't need a bunch of power-clones running around here.

Nor do we need "distinguishing feature" clones.

That being said, I'm putting a slightly restrictive ban on facial scars. To be honest, even though I myself have one, they're cliche. HOWEVER. IF your character has a facial scar that has an important backstory, I might consider it.

This goes the same for "wing," "dragon," "bird", "wolf" "phoenix", and "seal" tattoos.

I'm getting less keen on "winged" characters as well.

Distinguishing features must be in fact distinguishing for a reason, Fledgling.
