This place looks very cool, and I would probably think of joining if I had a better clue what this is about. I don't really feel I have enough info to actually do anything here.

An "eyrie" is pretty much an eagle's nest....and this is a nest of assassins, basically. Barroes, the Herald (myself) has started a hit-for-hire business to pick up where he left in his career after his own group betrayed him. No target is too large or small. What the Eyrie basically is is a haven for beings with a bloody history who have no where else to go. There is a subplot with The Fallen, enemies of the group Barroes calls the Aengels, but the stories of the members come into play as well...they're free to pursue their own, private hits as well (such as for vengeance, the like., relationships (good or bad) with other Aengels, and generally finding a place to "belong" so to speak.

Here are the two things giving me the most trouble:
1. What are the other planets? (Are there only two?)
And
2. What are all of the races?

I suppose that IS a bit tricky. We add planets as we go, just as we add races, to suit our members.
Nor and Garthia are included specifically on the boards because they are two of the leaders' home planets. They are definitely not the only two.
There's no fixed number of races here. Each member has the opportunity to create their own for their character. The race descriptions are there for info in case you're RPing with someone of that race.
Currently, if you really want to know, the races (all of which are original) are as follows:
Garthian (Herald Death)
Kathenin( Herald Death and Ghost)
Noran (Archaengel Ice)
Aphotian (Archaengel Void)
Karioxans (Carrion)
Kragorians (Weaver)
Glacians (Greed)
Elf (Malice)
and Mylians (Data)

Hmm, well, that's for you to decide. ^^ We accept all original-made races (meaning we don't allow people to create characters descended from "published races", like Saiyans from Dragonball Z, Na'Vi from Avatar, Vulcans from Star Trek, ect). That doesn't mean your race can't share features of those copyrighted ideas, you just can't use the name and/or backstory. Other than that, your race can be/look like anything you want it to. If you need some ideas, I'm sure the flock would be glad to help you out in the "Birds of a Feather" board. |
